Who Is Midgardian?

Midgardian is the writing team of Indie artists Eddie and Loribeth (Freyr and Freyja). We are Midgardian. Real people, songwriters who met fairly recently and have been inspired to write these amazing songs together. We have written and played music for decades, but these songs are so shockingly different and better that we decided to form a band and start fresh.

So for now we are just releasing the music as fast as we can using TikTok shorts to generate the music videos piece by piece, creating several Midgardian worlds with recognizable characters.

Our plan was to record all the songs ourselves and perform them and tour, (which we still plan to do) but the songs are pouring out so fast and so good we just decided to start releasing what we have already done so far.Although we are using AI as a tool to get the songs from concept to reality, (any indie artist would be a fool not to) the words and emotion and vibe are all coming from our hearts.

And yes, I really proposed to Loribeth on the beach at sunset singing this song I wrote. You can't even imagine how hard it was to hide the real lyrics from her while I practiced it LOL. The video is terrible quality compared to the pictures, but still, you can watch the proposal below :-)

Eddie has been writing music since shortly after he picked up a guitar in 1989. Some of his early songs including "Will You Still Love Me" have now been released as Midgardian songs. He still works a day job as a top level IT Systems Engineer at a top ten Forbes Company. Ironically the IT background is incredibly helpful making music and distributing it.

Loribeth is an entrepreneur, writer, artist, and co-creator of Midguardian songs and artwork, and hopes to publish her first book within the next few years.She has extensive entrepreneurial experience, including co-founding a successful TNR rescue and an art studio, as well as other ventures, and has helped manage large social media accounts for several of them.
